The Cost Benefit Analysis report sets out the details of a model developed by economists at DTI, DCMS and the Radiocommunications Agency to evaluate the costs and benefits of digital switchover. The model calculates the outcome in Net Present Value Terms (NPV) The central case shows quantifiable benefits of £1.5 –2 billion and that switching off would be good for the UK economy.
