Lord McIntosh Meets with Leading Electrical Retailers

On 9 March 2004, Lord McIntosh, the Minister for Broadcasting, met with senior executives from leading electrical retailers, including Dixons, Comet, RETRA and CIH, to discuss communicating digital switchover to consumers. The meeting highlighted the Government’s commitment to working with retailers to ensure staff are trained to give customers clear information about switchover, so that they can make informed choices when choosing the right digital equipment for their needs.
